Angel hair pasta with lemon, ham and ginger

A dish of angel hair pasta with lemon, ham and ginger may sound like an odd and unconventional Italian pasta. However, please give this recipe a go. It is devine!
Ingredients – serves 1 – 2
- 6 – 8 ounces (150 grams) capellini angel hair pasta
- 4 slices cooked ham
- 3 tablespoons heavy cream
- zest of 1/2 lemon
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- a knob of butter
- powdered ginger
- salt

- Put the onion in a pan with a knob of butter and lemon zest. Cook at low heat for two minutes.
- Meanwhile, chop the slices of ham.
- Add them to the onions. Fry for 2 minutes. Meanwhile, boil the capellini in lightly salted water until cooked to al dente.
- Add the cream to the sauce and season with salt.
- Drain the pasta and toss in the sauce.
- Serve with a dusting of ginger and a thinly cut slice of lemon.
