A mix of savory dips: How often have you been stuck for a dip? Here at The Big Dream Factory we’re offering you a mix of savory dips to help you get through any emergency party, snack or family occasion. In most cases any of these recipes are possible with ingredients commonly found around the kitchen.

Caesar salad dressing:

Suitable for chicken, fish, pork and veggies. Alternatively serve simply in classic style over some cos lettuce.

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • 1 garlic, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon Pecorino, finely grated
  • 1 teaspoon capers, lightly crushed
  1. Combine all of the ingredients.

Fresh Lime Dressing:

Great with cooked shrimp and chicken.

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Philadelphia cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 garlic, crushed
  • zest and juice 1 lime
  1. Combine all of the ingredients together and form a cream.
  2. Serve chilled.

Marie Rose Sauce:


Perfect with shrimp.

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoons tomato ketchup
  • zest and juice 1 lemon
  • 1 medium clove garlic, crushed
  1. Combine all of the ingredients to a cream.

Basil Pesto & Roast Pepper:

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon green basil pesto
  • 1 tablespoon roasted red peppers, diced


Dip anything you like into this one! Or spoon it into a freshly baked potato.

  1. Combine all of the ingredients, adding more peppers if you like.
waldorf-mayo

Waldorf Mayonnaise:

This is a dressing that is great with chicken, fish, pork and veggies. If you would like the recipe for Waldorf Salad, that’s right here.

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • Pinch salt
  1. Combine everything to form a cream.
